Due to Olympic construction, the popular annual summer event will not take place at the Robson Square Plaza this summer. We are seeking an alternative location. We are hopeful that we will find an alternative for our summertime dance series, so stayed tuned for updates! The organizing committee for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics (VANOC) announced today the events that will be included in the 2008 Cultural Olympiad. DanceSport BC is very pleased and excited to be a co-producer with the 2008 Cultural Olympiad.
On February 10, 2008 the SnowBall Classic will present Wheelchair DanceSport, featuring a performance by Piotr Ivanicki and Dorota Janowska from Warsaw, Poland, the current Latin Wheelchair DanceSport World Champions. Their performance will take place between competition rounds for the IDSF World Cup Ten-Dance Competition. Find out more about this event at the SnowBall Classic website.
